Louise Davies - Parent Support Advisor for Furze Platt Senior, Junior & Infant Schools

The Parent Support Advisor is designed to provide advice and support to parents in a range of ways. Some parents might simply need someone to talk to and share concerns about their child’s welfare or perhaps discuss broader parenting issues. Others may like advice on behaviour, attendance, helping their child study or helping them organise themselves.

Louise has many contacts with other local agencies and organisations or can guide parents if more specialised support is necessary.

Catherine Johnstone - Extended Services Co-ordinator for all 6 schools in the Furze Platt Cluster

Including Alwyn Infant and Nursery School, Courthouse Junior School, Furze Platt Senior School, Furze Platt Junior School, Furze Platt Infant School and Maidenhead Nursery. Catherine's remit is varied and includes arranging classes and courses of interest to a wide range of age groups. Additionally, the Co-ordinator publicises educational and recreational events for students, their families and the local community.
